To ensure that fundraising carried out through Uppsala Mosque is conducted transparently and responsibly,

the following documentation and information are required from organizations applying to conduct a fundraising campaign.

Fundraising Permit at Uppsala Mosque

If you wish to apply for a fundraising permit, the following conditions must be met and approved by the board. Please note that we reserve the right to request additional information or documentation if needed.

Terms and conditions for applying for a fundraising in Uppsala Mosque

Organizations that wish to conduct a fundraising in Uppsala Mosque need to meet the following conditions:

The organization must be registered in Sweden.
The organization must be able to provide references from one or more well-known and credible organizations.
The collection should relate to a charitable project, a mosque project, or an educational project.
The application must contain documentation that clearly describes the project and how the funds raised will be used.
The organization is responsible for providing its own donation boxes.
The organization must have its own bank account and/or Swish number where the collection goes. Uppsala Mosque does not accept or process collected funds.
Friday sermon (khutban) is always held by Uppsala Mosque's own imams. Guest organizations or representatives do not hold khutban.
Uppsala Mosque reserves the right to request additional information or supplementary documents if necessary.
Uppsala Mosque reserves the right to approve or reject an application based on a comprehensive assessment.
